As they sometimes would.
When your expectations
Go unmet, as they could.
When you people-please,
In order to keep peace.
While playing ego games,
To win their love,
To validate your worth.
Still no flame kindles.
For them love is a prison!
They have their reason!
Let the accountability alone!
Blame it on the cupid-
